JCM is dedicated to teaching chamber music to young musicians throughout Southern California.

What We Do: Students audition in October. JCM matches students into small ensemble teams (2-5 players) according to level, age, and location. *We encourage requests for particular group members, coaches, and repertoire.

Students later meet their teams and learn about the numerous opportunities available at an Orientation Meeting. JCM helps teams develop a rehearsal and coaching schedule to reach the goals of the team. Students perform in a variety of performances from January - May.

NEW! Honors Program: JCM has an elite program for the top groups in each branch. Special auditions will be held in January to select these groups. Honors groups are selected for masterclasses, additional concerts, and special scholarships.
